You may remember a few weeks ago I posted about starting your own directory and monetizing it with Adsense and affiliate links.
I’ve had my directory running for about a week now and I’m pleased to report that the Adsense cash is starting to trickle through now. My directory only has a few articles but I hope to grow it over time which will, hopefully, also improve my earnings as well.
Setting up the free directory from Article Dashboard was easy. It took me about 10 minutes to set up. After the set up, I spent about an hour editing the template files to get things personalized for my needs. I found this resource which really helped me edit the files.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with the progress of my directory. When starting off, you won’t have any authors submitting to articles to you but remember that it’s ok to copy and paste articles from other directories as long as you leave the author resource box intact.
